SPILLAGE
|
ON DECK
|
UNDER DECK

all sources of ignition (e.g. naked lights, unprotected light bulbs, electric
handtools) - If at sea, turn ship off wind - Small spillages should be
collected, where practicable, using absorbent material, for safe disposal -
Large spillages should be contained if possible by special equipment to avoid
hazard to the environment.
|
Eliminate
sources of ignition and provide adequate ventilation - Small spillages should
be collected, where practicable, using absorbent material, for safe disposal
- Large spillages should be contained if possible by special equipment to
avoid hazard to the environment.
